Town centre, c. 1900-1975. Various views of the High Street (north and south), including the Midsteeple and Burn’s statue, thee-quarters used, tinted, full colour, and sepia/black and white (in order of quantity). Most of the postcards are from national publishers. Roughly a third of the photos are taken from the Kings Arms Hotel (now Boots) where, not doubt, the photographers stayed.
